Philippines Visa Exemption
Nationals of certain countries are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for pleasure or business purposes for a period of stay of 59 days, 30 days, 14 days, 7 days or less, depending on their nationality and the existing bilateral agreements between the Philippines and their country.
Citizens of 157 countries can enter the Philippines visa-free for tourism/business purposes. Check the full list of visa-free countries and the maximum length of stay for your nationality. Citizens of countries not mentioned in the above list must apply for a visa.
If you are eligible for visa-free entry, you must still be able to present, at the Philippine borders, the following documents:
A passport valid for at least six (6) months from the date of your departure from the Philippines; and
An outbound flight ticket within the thirty (30) day period from the date of your arrival in the Philippines.
If you are eligible for visa-free entry into the Philippines but wish to stay longer than 30 days, you must apply for a Temporary Visitors’ Visa from the Embassy prior to your flight.

eTravel Registration
eTravel registration is mandatory for almost all international travelers entering or leaving the Philippines.
Who Needs to Register
Arrivals: All passengers, including Filipino citizens and foreign tourists.
To get your eTravel QR code using the eGov PH app, simply log into the app, select the Travel icon, and complete your travel declaration form.
Step-by-Step Guide
Download and Open: Download the eGov PH app from the App Store or Google Play.
Log In: Open the app and log into your account.
Select Travel: On the home screen, tap the Travel icon.
Create Declaration: Tap on "New Travel Declaration". Choose whether you are filling it out for yourself or a family member, and select your mode of travel (Air/Sea).
Fill Out Forms: Enter your personal information, flight details, and health declaration form.
Get your QR Code: Submit the form and a QR code will be generated.
Save: Screenshot or save the QR code on your device to present to border control and airlines.
Note: You can only register or update your eTravel details within 72 hours prior to your scheduled flight.

Travelers can arrive in the Philippines by plane. Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) welcomes foreign and domestic arrivals daily.

Philippine Weather
The Philippines has a tropical and maritime climate characterized by high temperatures, significant humidity, and heavy rainfall, with a mean annual temperature of 26.6°C. The climate consists of a dry season (December to May) and a rainy season (June to November).
October in the Philippines marks the transition from the rainy season to the dry season, offering warm temperatures and diminishing rainfall, especially toward the end of the month. Rain becomes less frequent, making it a good time for travel with lush scenery and moderate crowds.
