Philippines Visa Exemption

Nationals of certain countries are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for pleasure or business purposes for a period of stay of 59 days, 30 days, 14 days, 7 days or less, depending on their nationality and the existing bilateral agreements between the Philippines and their country.

Citizens of 157 countries can enter the Philippines visa-free for tourism/business purposes. Check the full list of visa-free countries and the maximum length of stay for your nationality. Citizens of countries not mentioned in the above list must apply for a visa.

If you are eligible for visa-free entry, you must still be able to present, at the Philippine borders, the following documents:

If you are eligible for visa-free entry into the Philippines but wish to stay longer than 30 days, you must apply for a Temporary Visitors’ Visa from the Embassy prior to your flight.

October in the Philippines marks the transition from the rainy season to the dry season, offering warm temperatures and diminishing rainfall, especially toward the end of the month. Rain becomes less frequent, making it a good time for travel with lush scenery and moderate crowds.
