APBMT
The Asia-Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (APBMT) was established in 1990 to share information on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy (HSCT/CT) and to promote collaborative basic and clinical studies in the Asia-Pacific region. As of April 2026, APBMT comprises members from the Asia-Pacific region, such as Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, and also those from outside this region. APBMT is leading a variety of activities related to HSCT/CT, including scientific research, transplant and cellular therapy activity surveys, an outcome registry, the establishment of center standards for HSCT facilities, education, and the publication of Blood Cell Therapy.

PSBMT
The Philippine Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (PSBMT) is a non-stock, non-profit organization composed of Filipino specialist physicians who are duly-trained in the conduct of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT). It was organized mainly to promote and develop the rational and evidence-based use of blood and marrow transplantation in the treatment of various hematologic and non-hematologic diseases in the Philippines. The society is recognized and accredited by the country’s Professional Regulations Commission and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission last March 9, 2016.
